Is It Possible To Put Contacts In The Wrong Way?

Work on the film

Deadline: Thursday, March 24, 2011.

I offer two films in 2006: a British film The Queen (The Queen) and an Italian film Golden Door.


This time, your work must respond to specific questions. But your work must still be read as continuous text with introduction, body and conclusion. It should not be limited to answers to questions. It is as much an informative text that opinion piece.

Questions:

The Queen:



  1. What is the triggering event of the film? What problem does this pose it?
  2. In the film, what is the relationship between the queen and her prime minister? How Queen Elizabeth II's perception of its role in relation to Parliament How Premier perceive are role versus the queen?
  3. In the film, what relationship it maintains the queen with his people? How does she think she must act towards his people? What perception did the people about his queen?
  4. What is the solution adopted in the film to the problem?
  5. Are there still other monarchies in the world except the British monarchy or Canadian? Europe, Asia, Africa?
  6. The subjects of these monarchs are they trying to end the monarchy or do they continue to be covered and what are the arguments that are put forward?
  7. What is the attitude of Canadians in this regard?
  8. Conclude if you believe that the monarchy still has its place?
The Golden Gate :

  1. Why do they want the Italians leave their country? What do they intend to find in America what they lack in Italy?
  2. How is the trip? Under what conditions do they travel?
  3. What happens on arrival at Ellis Island? Do you find that meets these immigrants?
  4. What are the conditions under which U.S. authorities let in immigrants? Is there discrimination against certain ethnic groups?
  5. Why the United States are they trying to recruit immigrants?
  6. In Quebec, what criteria do we accept the immigrants? Where are our Immigrants?
  7. Do you think that the criteria we choose are fair? Reasonable? Humans? Should we be more open?

I remind you that this is a work of history. It must therefore contain explicit information on the time (dates), actors (names), place and context. Moreover, the general comments should be avoided. Any claim must be supported and justified by using reliable sources.

Instructions

This work is done in teams of 3 (unless permission from me). Your work should not exceed 1500 words and have at least 1000.

You must also follow the rules of presentation of the College. Unlike the latter work, a score of 25 will be allocated for this part. Your work must be respected:
  • Layout: front page, line spacing , font, title and pagination.
  • The correct format for footnotes: every statement must be clarified by a footnote that obeys the rules.
  • The rules for the bibliography. The bibliography must include all sources cited in your work. The film shall comply again.
